Thanks, Sarah, for sharing your heartfelt desire for your children. “Equipping” is the word that comes to mind. As a parent, you equip them for life in so very many ways, from simple hygiene to the ability to suffer and survive. It is a process that never ends for the parent. Believe me, it is with me and a sweet 40 year old daughter I love! But I cannot live the life of my child; the best I can do is to properly equip them for this world and all its highs and lows, teaching them to maintain “an even keel” through it all. You make me very happy as a parent! Keep on living it! Dad
